In the event of an emergency, every second counts. That’s why having a reliable, easy-to-use safety stair system is so important. We are delighted to have fabricated the first full-scale EVACSTAC system, for emergency service testing. This system, designed by the EVAC STAC utilises Steelo’s off-site fabrication team to manufacture the modules to a high specification within tolerance.
At Steelo, we have always pushed to be an innovator in the steel industry but in this project, we can proudly say that we are supporting the team at the forefront of evacuation and safety. This system is a true game changer and we look forward to seeing this system implemented around the world.
One of the biggest benefits of the EVACSTAC safety stair system is that it’s easy to install. With the installation of a base foundation, the modules can be added up to five stories at a time to any existing building or structure with minimal disturbance to the residence. The completed system includes the full evacuation stair system, safe refuge areas, both wet and dry riser and integration systems for sprinkler systems.
