Steel frame escape towers for high rise buildings

A client of ours has developed an innovative prefabricated, retrofitted escape tower that allows the safe evacuation of all residents from high-risk or high-rise buildings with a single staircase.

Steelo Modular produces the core structural steel frame for the towers in modular pieces for the structures before delivery to the site for assembly.

Our Client is one of the UK’s leading Volumetric Modular development and construction companies. They provide a full turnkey solution or a project specific tailored approach to delivering high – quality sustainable homes.

As part of their national supply chain, Steelo is a fabricator for the steel frames that form their interlocking modules. Since the beginning of 2022 Steelo has fabricated and supplied over one hundred frames which have been installed as residential developments, student living and hotel accommodation across the UK.

This approach to Volumetric Construction sees over 80% of the final development prefabricated off-site resulting in reduced labour and time on-site during installation and a safer working environment and a better-quality finish.

Pre-fabricated balcony stubs and arms for rapid on-site installation

Our Clients are a global leader in the supply of glide-on balconies for residential buildings. Their innovative rigid balconies utilise a rapid install system that anchors the structure using steel arms and a Balcony Cassette®.
